ROWAN partners with other organizations, churches, and ministries that have experience and expertise in various fields—from education and agriculture to medicine and Christian ministry. Together, we seek to carry out ROWAN’s vision of creating sustainable development solutions—not dependency—for the marginalized orphans and widows in Mawanga and beyond.

The partners listed here have played an integral part of expanding the ROWAN mission by supplying resources, providing training and expertise, or offering finances.

AFBC, located in California, is the sister church of ROWAN. Not only has it played an integral role in building  the ROWAN office, but it also provides support for local volunteers, clinics, the pastor, widows, and orphans. It also sends teams to Mawanga regularly.

Cornerstone Community Church Singapore is heavily involved in ministries across the East Africa region. This community supports ROWAN and believes the Lord will grow and expand His territory in Uganda.

Compassion has been working within Mawanga for more than 20 years. The local staff share their expertise in child advocacy, education, and microenterprise projects.

Eyes on Africa serves the rural areas of Africa with varieties of reading glasses. All glasses are donated freely and distributed through local leadership in the communities. Eyes on Africa has donated over 200 pieces to our widows and orphans in need. They will stock each ROWAN team with glasses before they go to Uganda.

Crocs Singapore has graciously donated to ROWAN in 2009. The feet of each widow and orphan can be seen sporting a pair of Crocs!

HIV.sg is a Singaporean clinic that provides loving care and support for those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS in Singapore. We are working with them to bring medicine and care to Mawanga.

Since 2009, Samaritans Purse has partnered with ROWAN to bring hope in the form of Christmas gifts every year to our rural orphans. Operation Christmas Child Shoe box is a project Samaritan’s Purse runs every year in the West where families fill up shoe boxes with toys. Make sure and fill one this year!
